The Belgrade FortressAfter pickup, the tour begins at the mighty Belgrade Fortress, whose walls have stood for over two millennia. You’ll discover why the city earned the title “ the Rampart of Christianity” and learn which great empires once ruled this area. As you explore this open air musem, your guide will reveal countless sites and captivating stories. This exploration is the perfect introduction to Belgrade’s rich past.
- During the tour through the Fortress you'll walk by the open exhibition of Belgrade Military Museum. Here you can see weaponry from WWI and WWII, but also a '99 Yugoslav Army missile launcher which hit and brought down the "invisible" F-117 stealth bomber. You'll learn from the guide how Yugoslav Air Defence managed to "see" it on the radar and hit it. (pass by)
