BelshAbout 40 min away from Tirana, on our way to Berat we will be doing about 30 min stop in Belsh, which is known for its beautiful lakes and endless hills. Here will be having a quick pit stop for the use of facilities, a quick leg stretch and take in the beautiful panorama.

Berat CastleBerat Castle is a fortress overlooking the town of Berat. It is built on a rocky hill on the left bank of the river Osum. It is situated at an elevation of 214 metres. This will be the first attraction we visit in Berat right after Belsh, approximately 1h 20min away. The fortress in its present state, even though considerably damaged, remains a magnificent sight. The buildings inside the fortress were built during the 13th century and because of their characteristic architecture are preserved as cultural monuments.

National Iconographic Museum OnufriThis museum is located within Berat Castle. The museum was named to honor Onufri, a painting Headmaster of the 16th century. Here you will get to admire beautifully carved Iconostasis at the Onufri Museum inside the castle

BeratBerat is a UNESCO protected world heritage site. Enjoy some free time to sightsee independently and shop for souvenirs while enjoying what the city has to offer. During this time you can take a quick stop for lunch. Lunch will be at your own charge in whatever local spot you choose to go. We will meet back in the designated spot that will be decided on the day in Berat city centre and then we will had back towards Tirana which will be around 2 hour drive back.
