Best of the Cape Peninsula Private Tour
Overview
Beauty abounds on the Cape Peninsula, making it essential for any visit to Cape Town to include a day along the stunning coastline. As locals passionate about the natural environment, we strive to integrate this aspect into our tours.
- 🌍 We are locals who have grown up on the Cape Peninsula.
- 🔄 We are flexible on the day and can adjust the tour to your interests.
- 🌊 You will get to a couple quieter corners, albeit still experiencing the top Cape Peninsula highlights.
- 📚 Our knowledge of the natural environment adds huge value to your experience.
- 🚶 If you prefer hiking over visiting sites like Kalk Bay and Simon's Town, please book our other tour "Cape Point Nature Tour & Hike (Private)."
Sustainability comes first, and Tinggly provides instant digital delivery, no expiration, and options across the globe.

- We drive through Simon's Town in order to visit Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, although some days we may visit Jubilee Square and the Just Nuisance statue on days when we have lunch at a Simon's Town restaurant. (pass by)
-
Boulders Beach Penguin ColonyWe visit the main Boulders Beach Penguin Colony viewing decks within the Table Mountain National Park which a few thousand African Penguins call home. A walk along Willis Walk to the main swimming beach is something you'll do and in summer a swim here is wonderful!
-
Cape PointWe drive into the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park en route to Cape Point where the lighthouses are located. We'll walk up to the view sites and then possibly down the Lighthouse Keepers' Trail to get a different angle if you're up for a walk. If we don't walk to the lighthouses we can walk out over Diaz Beach and then we'll let you continue towards the Cape of Good Hope (45min) at the same time that we drive around to pick you up at the end point.
-
Cape of Good HopeAlthough we'll touch on the Cape of Good Hope 'proper' while in the Cape Point vicinity we'll be driving to a few different sites within the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park. We'll look out for larger wildlife here such as Bontebok, Eland, Chacma Baboons and Ostriches among others.

Chapman's Peak DriveThis road is a classic! We'll usually cruise over Chapman's Peak Drive on the way back to Cape Town after a day on the Cape Peninsula where the views over Noordhoek Beach and Hout Bay are stunning!
