Bike The Wineries (3/4 Day) - Ride Through Queenstown Vineyards
Overview
This self-guided ride spans 3 to 4 days and begins with a shuttle bus from Around The Basin’s shop in Queenstown to the bike hub at Arrow Junction. Riders will be fitted with bikes and provided with ride details upon arrival.
- 🚴♂️ The first section includes 6 km (4 miles) of scenic trail, following the Arrow and Kawarau river gorges.
- 🌉 Highlights include crossing the Edgar Swing Bridge and reaching the Kawarau Bungy Jump Bridge.
- 🍇 Continue cycling through the Gibbston Wine Region, stopping at any cellar doors you prefer.
- 🏞️ The full ride covers approximately 17 km (11 miles) of undulating, gravel trail.
- ⏰ A shuttle will pick you up at the designated time given during your briefing from your chosen winery in Gibbston Valley.

The Church Cellar Door and CafeBuilt in Wangaloa in 1894, this old church was relocated to Gibbston in the early 2000’s. Today instead of hymns and sermons it serves up local wines and good vibes. You will be collected from The Church at 4:30 pm for the return shuttle back to Queenstown.
