Overview
This self-guided Full Day ride begins with a shuttle bus from Around The Basin’s shop in Queenstown to Arrowtown. After being fitted with a bike, you'll receive all necessary details for your ride.
- 🚴♂️ The first section covers 15 km (9 miles) along scenic trails, following the Arrow and Kawarau river gorges.
- 🌉 Cross the Edgar Swing Bridge and reach the iconic Kawarau Bungy Jump Bridge during your ride.
- 🍷 In the afternoon, cycle through the Gibbston Wine Region with stops at various cellar doors as you choose.
- 🛤️ The full ride encompasses around 25 km (16 miles) of undulating, gravel trail.
- 🕒 Shuttle pickup will be at the designated time provided during the briefing from your selected winery in Gibbston Valley.
- 🏞️ Wineries enroute include Chard Farm, Gibbston Valley Winery, Gibbston Tavern, Gibbston Tasting Room, Rockburn, Kinross, The Church, Mt Rosa, and Brennan Wines.
