Laguna La ToreadoraLaguna Toreadora is one of the largest and most prominent lagoons in the park, located at an altitude of approximately 3,900 meters above sea level. This glacial lagoon is surrounded by a mountainous moorland landscape that offers spectacular views and a reassuring experience in nature, plus we pass the Interpretation Center, which presents a variety of interactive exhibits including models, information panels and digital screens. These exhibits cover topics such as park geography, the water cycle and wildlife in this ecosystem.

Santuario de la Virgen del CajasThe place is of great natural beauty, considered as the Garden of the Blessed Virgin, called its “bit of Heaven”. It is worth the visit, even if you are not a Catholic or believer in these events. If they wish, pilgrims can bring empty bottles to collect water from the spring next to the shrine (it is considered holy water with spiritual properties).
