At The Veil, we'll get to sample three beers from a pioneer in certain brewing techniques in Richmond! About Legend: The Veil opened in 2018 after the head brewer did brewing stints in Virginia, New England, and Belgium. They were the first to use a koelship and spontaneous fermentation in Richmond, and remain among the most process-focused breweries you'll find anywhere. Inside The Veil, you'll find a unique Japanese pub fare concept, Nokoribi. During your tour, you'll sample some popular items from the menu in addition to the beer tastings.

About Ardent: Ardent Craft Ales began in 2010 as a garage-based co-op in Church Hill started by two friends who just wanted to learn more about making beer. Their audience grew month over month until they began to think seriously about opening a commercial brewery. After months of planning, fundraising, and renovating, Ardent’s Scott’s Addition location opened in 2014. The Ardent Saison is a crowd-favorite that’s always on tap, and the Earl Grey Brown Ale makes a unique and tasty choice.
