Mount SrdOn the macadam road we reach one of the favourite photo spots. The viewpoint on the top of the Srd Hill offers a spectacular panoramic view of the new part of Dubrovnik and of beautiful real life fairy tale Elaphiti Islands. The photos from this photo spot are a must-have. That’s why we will take a break and enjoy together.

Strincjera is located 400m above sea level, at a position from which the entire northern, eastern and a part of the southeastern slopes of the hill Srd are visible. It was built there precisely for that reason during the Austrian ruling. Its purpose was to guard the accesses to Dubrovnik from the aforementioned directions.
- We will drive past Fort Imperial and the surrounding fortifications built by the French in the early 19th century, during the rule of Napoleon Bonaparte. This fortress played a significant defensive role in Dubrovnik's history, as well as in the last Homeland War in the early 1990s. Today, the fortress houses a rich part of cultural treasures from that time period. (pass by)
