This itinerary offers a day of discovery between the Adriatic coast and the Apulian hinterland, combining history, nature, food and wine and crafts. It starts from Polignano a Mare, famous for its cliffs and sea caves, to continue towards Monopoli, where you explore the historic center with the Cathedral of the Madonna della Madia and the Castle of Charles V. After a walk along the ancient port, the tour continues to the Egnazia Excavations, a Roman archaeological site, and the Lama d'Antico rock park, characterized by caves and settlements. In Speziale, a picnic stop among the olive trees offers local products at km 0. Continue towards Cisternino and Locorotondo, two of the most fascinating villages in the Itria Valley.
