Citadel of SaladinStart your day at 8:00 am, where your tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel in Cairo or Giza. First, visit the Citadel of Saladin which was constructed in the 10th century by the Sultan Saladin on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD to defend Cairo from the armies of Crusaders. After that visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish man who came specially from Istanbul and built this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled Over 45 years.

Start by visiting the Roman fortress; the Hanging church, which is one of the most beautiful churches in Christendom . The Hanging Church was built above Babylon Fortress, it was also a Seat of the Coptic Orthodox Pope of Alexandria until 1047. The hanging church also includes over 100 magnificent holly Icons from the 8th century till 18 century. Ben Ezra Jewish synagogue is located on the site where Moses was praying during the time when Egypt was hit by a plague. Visit the Synagogue where the genizah that tells about the Jewish history in Egypt where found.
