Fitted with gear and given a safety briefing, guests are ready for the Canyon Challenge Course and its various routes. Starting on easy courses, participants can progress to more challenging options as they complete each course.
- 🧗♂️ The Canyon Aerial Course follows industry standards set by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) and Colorado safety regulations.
- 🔒 Participants are secured using the Bornack Smart Safe Belay (SSB) lanyard system, ensuring safety during transfers between elements.
- 🌄 Staff members are available nearby to offer encouragement and assistance when needed.
- 🚶♀️ Guests have the freedom to choose their route and move at their own pace throughout the experience.
To prioritize safety, participants must adhere to all instructions, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience on the course.

Take County Road 7/45 and follow 0.8 miles. On the left, is a Captain Zipline sign and arrow posted. Take a left on County Road 54 where the sign is located and follow the road to the top of the hill, past an old mining operation on the left. Keep following the road down into our parking lot!

The Canyon Challenge Course complex is an amazing structure tucked into the Lost Canyon. Surrounded by rugged and colorful limestone cliffs, the Canyon Challenge Course consists of more than 120 interconnected “challenge elements” including swinging bridges, cargo nets, balance beams, tunnels and more. It is a high ropes challenge course on steroids with elements ranging from easy to extreme. The 120 elements are broken into 9 course routes. Routes consist of 8-13 elements and are graded much like ski runs.
The Canyon Aerial Course is designed for individuals seeking a physical challenge to test their core strength, balance, agility, flexibility, and physical prowess.
