    Presentation of the square with its major attractions such as the Teatro Municipal (the Rio opera house), the Museu das Bellas Artes, La Camara Municipal, La Biblioteca Nacional, Le Teatro Odeon (the only cinema in the square still in operation)
  • The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian
    We enter the Cathedral to present its architecture, its history, its monumental stained glass windows
  • Largo da Carioca
    We pass by Largo Carioca to present you the Sao Antonio church and Sao Francisco da Penitencia, one of the most beautiful baroque churches in Brazil and the panoramic view from the terrace of these two churches which are next to each other.
  • We pass through the pedestrian streets of old Rio to reach this place which is one of the oldest cafes in Rio with its art deco style which makes it an iconic place in the Centro
  • We continue our walk to arrive at the 15th of November square (proclamation of the Republic) to present to you the Church of Our Lady of the Carmelites, the Paço Imperial, the Equestrian Statue of General Osorio, the Tax Island and the ferry pier to Niteroi and Paqueta Island in Guanabara Bay
  • We then reach Pie X square by the pedestrian streets to show you the Candélaria church, the Olympic boulevard, the CentrO Cultural do Banco do Brasil and the casa França Brasil
  • Mosteiro De Sao Bento
    And we continue our walk to the Saint Benoit monastery which is one of the most beautiful churches in Rio to visit it and tell you its history.
  • Maua Square
    This square is an important cultural place because there is the Museu de Amanha (Museum of tomorrow) which we do not visit but which is architecturally very interesting as well as the Art Museum of Rio with its panoramic terrace on the top floor which allows you to have an incredible view of the Maua square, the Niteroi Bridge, the Museum of Tomorrow ...
  • This mural, which is considered the largest in the world, represents 5 ethnic groups and was produced by Eduardo Kobra for the Olympic Games
  • We will then go back to the Santa Teresa Tram station to take the famous yellow Bonde (tram) to go up to the Santa Teresa district. It is a panoramic walk of thirty minutes full of charm.
  • Largo dos Guimaraes
    Walk and around the Largo dos Guimaraes in the heart of Santa Teresa to discover its houses from the end of the XIXth, beginning of the XXth, nice views, restaurants and bars which also make this district famous.
  • Centro Cultural Municipal Parque das Ruinas
    The iconic point of Santa Teresa, former home of Laurinda Santos Lobo transformed into a gazebo with an incredible view of the Centro, the Arches of Lapa, Christ and Botafogo
  • Escadaria Selaron
    Leaving Santa Teresa to go to Lapa at the foot of the hill, we will pass by the famous multicolored staircase of George Selaron, Chilean artist who created it in about twenty years.
  • Arcos da Lapa
    We will continue to stroll while admiring the multiple graffiti which decorate the walls of this district to reach the arches of Lapa, old Rio aqueduct dating from the XVIII and supplying water to the city of Rio until the end of the XIX. The tram from passes through the aqueduct to access Santa Teresa
