From the meeting point just outside the port, travel approximately 50 minutes to Chacchoben, watching the scenery change as you make your way into the lush Maya jungle. Explore Chacchoben, an ancient Maya city with origins dating back to around 200 BC. Follow your guide along jungle trails to discover impressive temples, ceremonial structures and partially excavated mounds still hidden beneath the vegetation.
