Established in 1893 as a response to a restrictive dispensary system and named after the governor who imposed it, the Blind Tiger has continued as a reputable establishment. Enjoy a drink while learning of the harrowing encounters experienced by many patrons and employees over the years.
- Constructed between 1767 and 1771, this site acted as military headquarters in Charleston, as is where three signers of the Declaration of Independence were imprisoned during the Revolutionary War.
