Depending on the season and what's freshly prepared that evening, you may enjoy warm chickpeas, fragrant snail soup, creamy chamiya, or calienté, a delicious chickpea pie that has been a local favorite for generations.

Our evening concludes on the rooftop of a beautifully preserved 300-year-old traditional Moroccan house overlooking the Blue City. As the lights of Chefchaouen begin to glow, you'll relax with a cup of authentic Moroccan mint tea while discovering the rich history and spiritual traditions of Gnawa music. I'll introduce you to the Guembri, the three-string instrument at the heart of this centuries-old musical tradition, and explain its unique rhythms, symbolism, and cultural significance. You'll then have the opportunity to hold the instrument and learn a few simple rhythms yourself in a fun and relaxed way.
