Crown EscalatorBuilt in 1996, the Crown Escalator is 112 meters long with a vertical rise of about 52 meters. Slowly moving through the enclosed passage, it reveals Chongqing not at once, but layer by layer.
- Glide past the Sujiaba Overpass, a masterpiece of Chongqing’s layered engineering. With roads weaving above and below like ribbons in the air, it’s a true showcase of the city’s “mountain maze” design.
