- We depart from Riomaggiore as the late afternoon light begins to soften, giving you a stunning first view of the village from the sea. From this angle, the colorful houses stacked along the cliffs feel even more dramatic, glowing in the warm light. ManarolaWe cruise along the famous Via dell’Amore, following the cliffs that connect Riomaggiore and Manarola, before arriving in front of Manarola itself. This is one of the most iconic views in all of the Cinque Terre — pastel buildings perched above the sea, surrounded by rugged coastline. From the boat, you’ll have time to take photos and truly appreciate the scale and beauty of the village in a way that simply isn’t possible from land.
