We will start with pickups at 3:00 p.m., and once all passengers are on board, we will head on our private transportation to Lima’s Historic Center. The journey will take about an hour, providing the opportunity to enjoy the cityscape as we approach the cultural and colonial heart of the city.

The first stop will be Plaza San Martín, one of the most emblematic spaces of the city. Here, passengers can admire the statue of General San Martin, surrounded by historic buildings such as the Teatro Colón, the Gran Hotel Bolívar, and the Giacoletti building. The guide will offer a brief introduction on the importance of this place in Lima’s history.

From Plaza San Martin, we will start a walk along the Jirón de la Unión, one of the most traditional and vibrant streets in Lima’s Historic Center. Along the way, passengers will appreciate emblematic monuments such as the Municipal Palace, the Union Club, the photographic studio of the Courret brothers —a beautiful example of the Art Nouveau style in the city—, the Casa O’Higgins, now an exhibition hall managed by the PUCP, and the Church of Our Lady of La Mercy, dating from the 16th century. During the walk, we will make a special stop at the Esbari Ice Cream Shop to enjoy a pisco sour ice cream, a typical delicacy that combines the flavor of the iconic Peruvian cocktail with a refreshing note.

We will arrive at Plaza de Armas, the heart of Lima’s Historic Center, where passengers can admire some of the city’s most iconic buildings, such as the majestic Lima Cathedral, the imposing Government Palace and the elegant Archbishop’s Palace. We will have time to explore the square, take pictures and learn more about the history and founding of the city by Francisco Pizarro in 1535, in an environment full of colonial architecture and local life.

Our next stop will be the Monastery of San Francisco (ticket included), famous for its impressive library and catacombs, where the remains of approximately 70,000 people rest. Passengers can explore the underground crypts and learn about Lima’s rich religious and cultural history.

After visiting the Monastery, we will head to a traditional Lima tavern where passengers will enjoy a tasting of pisco, the flag drink of Peru. During this experience, they will learn about its history and brewing process, and have free time to tour the place, purchase optional souvenirs or simply enjoy the local atmosphere.

After the pisco tasting, we will drive to the emblematic Huaca Pucllana, located in the Miraflores district. The journey will take about an hour, allowing passengers to relax and enjoy the tour as we move from the Historic Center to this stunning pre-Columbian huaca nestled in the middle of the modern city.

The tour will culminate with dinner at the exclusive Restaurant Huaca Pucllana, located within the archaeological site. Passengers will enjoy a gourmet dinner with contemporary Peruvian dishes, while taking in the view of the illuminated pyramid. This gastronomic experience will be the perfect closure for a tour full of culture and history. After dinner, passengers will be transferred back to their hotels in Lima, concluding a six-hour tour that combines the best of Lima’s Historic Center with the magic of an archaeological site in the modern city.

At the end of dinner, our driver will pick you up directly from the restaurant and take you back to your respective hotels, ensuring a comfortable and safe return after a night full of Peruvian history, culture and flavors.
