You’ll travel as a small group and finish with a grand finale at a traditional Cotswold pub near Clarkson’s Farm. The exact location is kept as a surprise, with a reserved table giving you time to enjoy food, drinks and a proper countryside pub setting.
As with the rest of the day, timing is flexible depending on the group. Guests are welcome to stay longer if they wish, with onward transport options available.

Moreton-in-MarshMeet Simon outside the ticket office at Moreton-in-Marsh Railway Station at 10:20, ready for departure at 10:30. Local pickups may be available by prior arrangement. This is a relaxed, small-group day with a maximum of seven guests, hosted by a local Chipping Norton guide with a farming background. We start at Moreton-in-Marsh Railway Station before heading through Chipping Norton and into the countryside around Clarkson’s Farm.

Diddly Squat Farm ShopYou’ll have time to take photos and buy something to eat or drink. You can look in the shop, but I often recommend avoiding the queue because there are better options for buying Diddly Squat Farm Shop products without queuing that most people don’t know about. We don’t offer queue-jumping or guarantee time to enter when it’s busy.

Clarkson's FarmFrom there, we explore the local village and filming locations connected with Clarkson’s Farm, including a countryside walk and some stops that I deliberately don’t advertise.

CotswoldsWe also call at a traditional village pub used by Jeremy and Gerald, with time for a drink before driving to The Farmer’s Dog through some beautiful Cotswold countryside that most visitors and locals miss.

At The Farmer’s Dog, around an hour and twenty minutes is usually enough to buy food and drinks, explore The Grand Tour Tent and go inside the pub for drinks and photos. A reserved table or sit-down meal inside the pub is not included.
- The afternoon continues through the Cotswolds, usually via Burford and Bourton-on-the-Water, depending on traffic. (pass by)

Hawkstone BreweryWe then visit Hawkstone Brewery’s Tap Yard, The Hawkstone Arms, where you can enjoy a drink before we return to Moreton-in-Marsh. There may be time for an extra country pub stop along the way, depending on timings, how the day is going and what the group enjoys. I don’t publish every location we visit. This helps protect the area for locals and future guests, and part of the fun is discovering these places on the day.

Moreton-in-MarshAfter the final pub stop, we return through the Cotswold countryside to Moreton-in-Marsh railway station. Along the way we pass the well-known Daylesford Organic Farm Shop before arriving back at the station for the end of the tour.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
