The highlight was Strokkur, Iceland's tallest geyser, erupting every few minutes with impressive force, sending water spurting up to 30 meters into the sky. The vibrant hues of mineral deposits on the ground and the smoky valley combined to create an otherworldly ambiance.

Gullfoss WaterfallOur exploration then led us to the majestic Gullfoss Waterfall. This powerful cascade cascaded down in two magnificent steps, showcasing an awe-inspiring display of cascading water. If luck favored us with clear skies, a radiant rainbow adorned the waterfall, adding to its natural grandeur. We relished multiple vantage points, even daring to venture closer, and embracing the possibility of getting lightly drenched by the waterfall's mist.
