Your first stop of the day is the medieval town of Benissa. Benissa is a traditional Spanish town that is steeped in history and remains little unchanged by time. Its maze of cobbled streets is lined with ancient buildings and whitewashed houses and the main town square has a church so big, that the locals call it a cathedral.
