Valle del CocoraUpon arrival at the base of the Cocora Valley, our guide will give us a talk where we will learn more about the origin and importance of the majestic palms. We will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the history and cultural importance of this unique species. We will learn about the life cycle of the palm, its impact on local biodiversity and its status as an emblematic symbol of Colombia. This information will not only enrich our knowledge about the Wax Palm, but will also inspire us to appreciate even more the beauty that awaits us in the Cocora Valley. We will begin our hike through the Cocora Valley, exploring the fascinating trails that wind through the tall wax palms. The trail will take us through varied terrain, from gentle hills to more challenging sectors, adapting to different levels of ability. As we advance, the lush vegetation of the Cocora Valley unfolds, revealing the diversity of the local flora.
