Peyto LakePeyto Lake is a glacier-fed lake in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. This is one of the most popular lakes in the Banff National Park. The lake gets its stunning blue color from the glacial rock flour that flows into it from the surrounding Peyto Glacier. In winter, it will be frozen and covered in snow.

You’ll travel on an all-terrain Ice Explorer to the Athabasca Glacier, a 10,000-year-old sheet of ice. Mistaya CanyonMistaya Canyon in Banff National Park is an hidden gem along the Icefields Parkway. The canyon was formed by the strong flow of the Mistaya River which comes from Peyto Lake located to the southeast. Visitors can see its impressive limestone walls that twist and turn showcasing nature's artistry. Additionally the canyon has unique pothole depressions that have been created over time by the water's erosion. This stunning landscape offers a perfect place for those who appreciate nature and want to experience its wonders.
