Our tour begins with a gentle ride through the olive groves to the historic Monastery of Kyra, nestled in the peaceful hills just outside Lefkimmi. At this charming 18th-century monastery, you’ll explore a small but fascinating museum showcasing traditional everyday tools and equipment once used by the local community. Our local guide will share the story behind the monastery’s founding, its cultural and religious significance, and how it continues to be a beloved spiritual landmark for the area.

Next, we ride toward the Alikes of Lefkimmi, a vast open landscape where salt was traditionally harvested for centuries. This Natura 2000 protected area is now a haven for wildlife and migratory birds — and if you're lucky and the season is right, you may even spot flamingos resting in the shallow waters! As we ride alongside the salt pans, your guide will share insights into the history of salt production in Corfu, its economic importance in the past, and the fascinating natural ecosystem that has since reclaimed the area.
- We then follow the gentle flow of the Potami, the river that winds through the heart of Lefkimmi town.
