Highlights include dramatic views, rolling farmland, lush native bush & historic gold mining relics. Whizz along the Clutha Mata-au River by jet boat, a ride that connects an impassable area of the trail The impressive Roxburgh Dam can be viewed at the end of the trail at Roxburgh Hydro Village.
- 34km Grade 2-3 cycle trail (Easy-Intermediate)
- A reasonable level of fitness is required to enjoy this trail, and a confident riding ability; not suitable for children under 10
- Explore the quaint town of Clyde for morning tea before heading on to the trail
- Speedy river cruise on the Clutha adds another perspective to the tour
- Easily combine with other trails for an extended cycling adventure
