You meet the group in downtown Québec City for a one hour shuttle to Camp Mercier. At the ski center, the guide fits your equipment and gives a clear introduction to classic cross country skiing. You practice balance, propulsion, braking and simple climbs and descents on beginner terrain. You then follow the guide on an easy forest trail to apply the techniques in real conditions. A short lunch break and hot chocolate complete the outing before the return shuttle to Québec City
