Goree IslandAccompanied by our official guide, we will visit the Maison des Esclaves — a site of profound historical significance. In this sacred space of memory, we will walk through its rooms and stand before the iconic "Door of No Return", gaining a rigorous and sensitive understanding of the legacy of the transatlantic slave trade. After this journey into the past, we will take time to enjoy the tranquility of the island with a full lunch (not included) at a selected restaurant overlooking the sea. It will be the perfect occasion to savour the authentic flavours of Senegal, such as fresh fish or the emblematic Thiéboudienne, before returning to the mainland.

The first highlight is the African Renaissance Monument, a colossal bronze structure that surpasses the Statue of Liberty in height. Here we launch a challenge to the most adventurous: climb its 198 steps to reach the top and be rewarded with the most spectacular 360° panoramic view of the entire peninsula.
