TheyyamOur guide will meet you at your hotel one hour prior to the starting time. We will visit shrines that hold yearly theyyam performances during this experience. You will be accompanied by an English-speaking tour guide who will provide in-depth explanations of the performance and its significance. In order to learn more about the history of the specific theyyam, we will also be engaging with the performers and some locals. After the experience, we will head back to your hotel in Kannur. Since the performers travel between temples to execute theyyam rituals, the location of this activity will vary depending on the dates, but we will always begin our experience in Kannur.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
