Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)The great pyramid of king Khufu is one of the wonders of the world. It was the highest building in the world till the building of Eiffel tower in France in the nineteenth century. This pyramid was built to be the tomb of the king Khufu in the 26th century BC. It is about 149 meters high and consisted of 2.3 millions blocks which weigh between 2 and 15 tons each. It is about 6 millions tons of limestone.
