Overview
Morning transfers from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park provide an exciting start to your safari adventure. Upon arrival, you will meet your driver/guide and begin your game drive in a jeep or 4X4 land cruiser.
- 🚐 Pickup will occur early in the morning from your location in Zanzibar.
- 🐾 The transfer to Mikumi departs at 07:00am and arrives at 07:45am.
- 🦓 Game drives take place in a jeep/4X4 land cruiser accommodating six to eight persons, depending on seating availability.
- 🍽️ Lunch is provided inside the park around 1pm, after which the game drive will conclude.
- 🔄 After the game drive, assistance will be given for unloading before your return transfer to Zanzibar.

Mikumi National ParkEarly in the morning our driver will pick you up at your place in Zanzibar and drive to the airport to catch your transfer to Mikumi which departs 07:00am and will arrive in Mikumi park at 07:45am On arrival at Mikumi you will meet your driver/guide and start game drive in a jeep/4x4 land cruiser until 1pm for lunch inside the park then finish the game drive. In the end of a game drive, our guide will assist you to the airstrip where you will meet your awaiting transfer back to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar, the driver will be ready to pick you up for the return back to your hotel. Commonly seen animals in Mikumi: Giraffe, hippo, buffalo, elephant, zebra, baboon, eland, wildebeest, antelope etc. Occasionally seen animals in Mikumi: jackal, hartebeest, crocodiles, lion etc. Rarely seen animals in Mikumi: leopard, spotted Hyena.
