Enjoy a roughly 2 hours ride through the country side of Chongqing then get to Baoding site, the major part of Dazu Carvings. Dazu rock carvings is a massive ancient Buddhsim stone carving was built in Song dynasty, 800 years old. Over 10'000 statues were carved on vertical cliff, pretty much represents Chinese ancient religious art style and carving skill. Meawhile it's also functions like a Buddhism institute and holy site bring prayers and redemption to all Buddists. In 1999 Dazu Rock Carvings were inscribed on World Heritage List by UNESCO. Dazu Rock Carvings Beishan SiteThe admission of this site is already covered by that conbination ticket. Beishan Rock Carvings is a secondary site of Dazu Carvings, older than Baoding site. Most tourists won't be here for it's sort of isolated. Good things is that makes Beishan a peaceful and quiet place surrounded by plantations and birds. Traveles might take a relaxed stroll among all these amazing ancient carvings and enjoy all these art stuff and fresh air. For those cultural historical learners this would be your whole world.

Dazu Rock Carvings Beishan SiteThen we'll take a little country hiking get on top of a small hill nearby, explore an ancient Buddhism pogada and a twin giant Buddha both over 800 year old. This site won't be patronized by all tour groups, we'll be probably the only visitors around, our travelers may enjoy fresh air and a peaceful joyful stroll there.
