You must be "trail fit" to join this challenging hike. Not suitable for participants with limited mobility, unresolved back/knee/ankle injuries, heart problems or other serious medical conditions.

We’ll meet at the AYERS HOUSE, a beautiful heritage mansion at the eastern end of North Terrace, in the CBD, with a lovely garden and plenty of space to pull up with the car and hop in safely, away from the city traffic.
If you’re coming by tram, there’s a stop right at the entrance to AYERS HOUSE.

9AM PICK-UP AT AYERS HOUSE Meet your guide and fellow hikers at this calm and convenient spot in the heart of the city, featuring a beautiful garden, away from city traffic. TIPS ON HOW TO GET TO AYERS HOUSE It’s about a 15 min walk from Adelaide Railway Station. If you prefer to save your steps for the hike, take the free tram (BTANIC service, toward BOTANIC GARDENS) from the station and alight at the BOTANIC GARDENS TRAM STOP (end of the tram line). A BIT OF HISTORY ON AYERS HOUSE Built in 1846 as a modest home, it was purchased in 1855 by Sir Henry Ayers, who transformed it into a grand bluestone mansion. Today, it is recognised as a State Heritage Place. PLEASE NOTE This is only your pick-up point, the tour does NOT include a visit inside.

Deep Creek Conservation ParkYour guide will take you on a 10km loop through the wild beauty of Deep Creek NP, discovering a remarkable variety of ecosystems in a compact area. You'll traverse Xanthorrhoea-covered hillsides, open grassy slopes, and rocky gullies, all framed by dramatic views of the Southern Ocean. Located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, this protected area is a haven for Western Grey Kangaroos and short-beaked echidnas. Keep an eye out for over 100 bird species as you explore. Between June and October, you may even spot whales cruising the coastline during their annual migration. Prepare for a challenge! This hike will work up a sweat with steep sections and some rock scrambling. Your effort is rewarded with stunning coastal scenery and a visit to a tranquil, seasonal waterfall before you complete the trail. FITNESS REQUIREMENTS. You must be "trail fit" to join this tour. It's strictly not suitable for participants with limited mobility, heart problems, or unresolved back/knee/ankle injuries.
