During the demonstration you will be able to see how Sardinian filigree jewelery is made, both traditional and otherwise. I will show you how a filigree thread is born, starting from the hand twisting of two threads using two wooden boards, up to the creation of the various elements that you can see in the various filigree jewels and the welding of them.
The filigree in RUIU jewels is combined with other goldsmith techniques, such as fired enamel and burin engraving, two techniques that you can admire up close.
You will be able to see how a jewel is born, from the creation of the sketch to the modeling of the elements up to welding.
You will see up close both the traditional jewels of the Dorgali costume and the jewels signed RUIU FILIGRANA.
