Overview

Bangalore is India's 4th largest city & home to more than 13 million people. Exploring it in half a day is a massive challenge given the notorious traffic. To make it seamless, we have divided the city into 2 distinct half-day circuits: North Bangalore (Neo-Classic) & South Bangalore (Classic). The Neo-Classic route showcases the ISKCON Temple, Bangalore Palace, Vidhana Soudha, St. Mary's Basilica & Russell Market. The Classic tour takes you through Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bull Temple, Tipu Sultan Palace, Bangalore Fort & K.R. Market. Pick your preferred option! Each tour takes around 4 to 5 hours, depending on your hotel's location. If time permits, we can include a brief shopping stop for silk, sandalwood, or pashminas.
(1) Choose the option of your choice or the one closer to your hotel.
(2) Both options include private transport with hotel pickup & drop, guide service & all entry tickets.
(3) Each site has its own visiting hours & so we shall do our best to showcase what we can.

  • Lalbagh Botanical Garden
CLASSIC TOUR: Lalbagh Botanical Gardens present an oasis of fresh air in the midst of chaotic traffic of Bangalore. It is a 240-acre garden which serves as a major lung space, promptly contributing to the pseudonym that Bangalore has earned - The Garden City of India.Lalbagh hosts more than 2100 species of tropical & sub-tropical plants. Other highlights of Lalbagh are - A 3 billion year old rock; A 16-century Watch Tower built by Kempegowda II; A 300-year old White Silk Cotton tree; A 20-million year fossil; A 270-year old Mango tree planted by Hyder Ali in 1760; A 19th century iconic Glass House built by the British; A 150-year old tallest tree of the Garden (of Bangalore too!); A 19 CE British Musical Band stand; and so on. Apart from these, there is a beautiful lake, a lotus pond, a topiary, coffee plants, amazing wood sculptures, flowering trees, etc. A walk through the park is not only refreshing but also informative and invigorating
  • Bull Temple
CLASSIC TOUR: The Big Bull of Bangalore has been drawing visitors to himself since 1537 when he was created by the Founder of Bangalore Magadi Kempe Gowda. Apparently, Kempe Gowda found a huge monolithic rock here which looked like a bull in its natural form and so he decided to give it a real look. The Bull (or Nandi) is the vehicle of Lord Shiva who is one of the three principal Hindu Gods. This is the fourth biggest among the seven monolithic big bulls found in South India. The Bull Temple and its environs are famous for Ground Nut Fair which is held in November every year. At the foothills of the hillock where the Nandi sits, there is a Ganesh temple famously called the Butter Ganesh. There are many more temples which are found in the whole complex which are worth visiting.
  • Tipu Sultan Fort and Palace - Bangalore KR Market
CLASSIC TOUR: Tipu Palace is a 220 year old palace which served as the summer residence of the King. It is built in teak wood and in typical Islamic architecture, showing the diwas-e-am and diwan-e-khas. A brief history of Tipu Sultan, his trysts with the French, the Anglo-Mysore wars, his contributions and controversies are all worth discussing at this venue. A visit to the Museum in the premises throws more light on how he came to be known as the Grandfather of Rocket Science in the whole world!
  • CLASSIC TOUR: If you ever wanted to see typical India in action, this is the place. There is enough and more in this Market and its environs for all your sensory organs. Vendors, workers, coolies, hawkers, buyers, cows, dogs, cylces, rickshaws, bikes, scooters, etc jostle for space with each other. Heaps of vegetables, fruits, flowers, spices, etc are found everywhere. But there is order, in this disorder! Come and experience this pulsating and throbbing Indian Market of essentials.
  • ISKCON Temple Bangalore
NEO-CLASSIC TOUR: International Society for Krishna Consciousness ( ISKCON) is a world-wide spiritual organization founded by A.C.Bhakthi Vedanta Prabhu Pada, in the 1960's. Following the Vaishnavite dharma, they propound the route of love and devotion to Krishna as the path towards salvation. The ISKCON temple in Bangalore was built over a barren land in 1985 and since then has been attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. The philanthropic work done by ISKCON has been path breaking in Bangalore and elsewhere in the country. Visit this place to know why India is such a big spiritual draw in the whole world!
  • Bangalore Palace
NEO-CLASSIC TOUR: The Bangalore Palace is reminiscent of the Windsor Castle of UK in its outlook. This palace was built in 1884 by Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar X, after buying the modest house built on the same place by Reverend Garett, the then Principal of Central College, Bangalore. It has been with the Mysore Royal family ever since and it now belongs to the 27th King in the lineage, Mr. Yaduweera Chamaraja Krishnadutta Wadiyar. This palace has been open to public only since the last 20 years and it stands on a ground measuring more than 450 acres of prime land in Bangalore!
  • Vidhana Soudha and Attara Kacheri
NEO-CLASSIC TOUR: Vidhana Soudha is the most important landmark of Bangalore. It is the Parliament of the State of Karnataka and the seat of power. It was built in 1956 by Kengal Hanumanthayya, the then Chief Minister. It is very interesting to note that a critical remark made by a Russian delegation member in 1950 prompted the CM to initiate this building. And he chose to build it right across the British vestige in a way to dominate it. Built in neo-dravidian architecture, Vidhana Soudh can be considered as one of the Top 10 parliament buildings in the World. This building can only be seen from the outside since entry is not allowed.
  • St. Mary's Basilica
NEO-CLASSIC TOUR: St. Mary’s Basilica is Bengaluru’s oldest church and a spiritual anchor for its Catholic community. Its origins date to the 17th century when Tamil Christian settlers built a thatched shrine called "Madha Kovil" in Blackpally. French missionary Father Jean-Antoine Dubois later built a modest chapel here in the early 19th century, laying the foundation for its modern prominence. Architecturally, the basilica is a Gothic Revival masterpiece. Built in a cruciform layout, it features a towering 160-foot spire, elegant pointed arches, and vibrant stained-glass windows from Europe that illuminate the altar. The church's heartbeat is the annual St. Mary’s Feast in September. This 10-day festival draws millions of devotees of all faiths who wear saffron, attend novenas, and join the grand chariot procession on September 8. Today, the basilica is a sanctuary of peace in a tech hub. Offering multilingual masses, it remains a symbol of deep faith, heritage, and communal harmony.
