This rum distilling experience features a bespoke micro distillery and offers a personal, knowledgeable workshop unlike any other in the country. Upon entry to the building, you will be warmly greeted by your host at the main entrance.

The Rum School is situated in a private basement room downstairs at the 'Cumberland Bar' in Edinburgh. Please enter the bar through the front door entrance where your host will welcome for your rum experience.
You will be welcomed to a bespoke micro distillery room where you will receive a rum and mixer on arrival. Guests will be allowed to settle in with a run through of the outline of the class. Each guest will then try three different rum tasting samples and then design their own bespoke rum recipe from the available ingredients. Guests will then use an individual mini copper still to distill their chosen ingredients to produce a 500ml (50cl) bottle of rum to take home with them. While their rum is distilling they will enjoy a cocktail and once their rum has been distilled, they will taste their newly made rum before bottling, labelling, naming and wax sealing their end product to take away with them.
