DMZ Tour Continue into the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), one of the world's most heavily fortified borders and a unique symbol of both conflict and peace. Visit the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, secretly dug by North Korea beneath the border, and the Dora Observatory, where, on a clear day, you can see across the DMZ into North Korea, including the propaganda village of Kijong-dong and the city of Kaesong. British Military Seolmari Battle Memorial ParkThe Gloucester Hill Battle Monument commemorates the extraordinary defense of Hill 235 by approximately 650 British soldiers, who held off repeated attacks by a much larger Chinese force during the Battle of the Imjin River in April 1951.
