Overview
Take a breathtaking journey to Durmitor National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The road winds through the picturesque town of Šavnik and traditional villages and valleys, offering views of Savin Kuk, one of Durmitor’s most striking peaks.
Continue through dense black pine forests and pass Žabljak — the highest town in the Balkans, known as the heart of mountain tourism in Montenegro.
Soon, you'll reach the stunning Black Lake, affectionately called the “Eyes of Montenegro.” Enjoy a peaceful lakeside walk or breathe in the crisp mountain air.
Then visit Đurđevića Tara Bridge, an engineering marvel above the turquoise Tara River, the “Tear of Europe.” For adventure lovers, an optional zip-line ride (not included) offers unforgettable canyon views.
End at Splavište, the serene starting point of many rafting tours, surrounded by untouched nature. Drive back.
