Enjoy a funny morning e-bike trip on Remutaka trail with transport and packed lunch included.
Depart from Wellington Train Station via shuttle. Start biking with a very gradual incline through native bush. During this trail, you'll explore tunnels with headlights provided and cross bridges.
Learn about the old fell railway system through information boards. Reach the summit, where you'll find a grassy plateau perfect for a picnic or cold drink. Next, enjoy a fun and easily controllable descent to Cross Creek in the Wairarapa.
Then, reach the scenic farmland of the Wairarapa and finally, choose between waiting for the shuttle at Cross Creek or continue biking to Featherston for an additional 10km. Here, you'll find cafés and pubs.
