Craigmillar CastleWe start by riding up to see Craigmillar Castle, where Mary Queen of Scots stayed after the birth of her son, James I of England and VI of Scotland. We then head onto the cycle path, through the Victorian railway tunnel and up into Holyrood Park. Stop for a photo of Arthur’s Seat, Salisbury Crags and Edinburgh Castle. We then enjoy a lovely sweeping downhill ride to Holyrood Palace and Scottish Parliament. We then continue round Arthur’s Seat for amazing views of Edinburgh and East Lothian before our return ride back to Bridgend. 2.5 hrs round trip
