This reservation site has just started in 2020.
A new two-hour workshop where everyone can handcraft a mini shamisen, play a few songs, and enjoy a live concert with tea! You can take the instruments you made home and play them at home.

How about focusing on making and playing Japanese instruments in a relaxing Japanese-style room at your tea teacher's house?
It is an experience for many foreigners, so depending on the timing, it may be an opportunity for international exchange.
This is the first time for beginners to experience shamisen.

1) Wear a happi coat and put your spirit into it.I'm starting to feel more Japanese.
2) Next, I will give you a brief explanation of the shamisen (brief history, features, etc.)
3) Now it's time to assemble with the introductory mini shamisen kit.After you see the swatches, such as the line, try it yourself (It's not difficult because even elementary school students have built it before.) It only takes about 20 minutes.
4) Let's make a sound with the shamisen we made right away!Learn how to read music.
5) We practice the song together (The shamisen score is very simple, and the mini-shamisen has numbers on it so you know where to hold it just by looking.)
6) Everyone will enjoy playing together.
7) Take a break.You will listen to a live shamisen performance with tea sweets.
8) Finish at the raised point.Handmade mini shamisen will be taken home.
