We always try to visit the best ice cave available at the given time, but the choice may vary throughout the winter. At the moment the most beautiful cave is called Sparkle Ice Cave, but sometimes the old name Crystal Ice Cave is also used. They are currently, as of November 2024, the same thing. However as we operate in really fast changing environment, there might come conditions when entering this particular ice cave will be too hazardous. We will then try to offer you an alternative, which might require some hiking on the glacier. You can be sure that you will receive from us relevant and up-to-date information if the conditions change.

Glacier LagoonYour guide will be waiting for you at the main carpark of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon 15 minutes before the start of the tpur. From there you set off for a 45-min ride towards the glacier.

Glacier LagoonWe will then drive the same approximately 45 minutes back to Jökulsárlón car park.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met,
you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
