Quarshie, a skilled blacksmith, introduced cocoa to Ghana upon his return from Fernando Po (modern-day Equatorial Guinea) in 1879. While the origins of the cocoa beans are surrounded by speculation, the farm stands as a testament to Quarshie's legacy. Visitors can witness two original cocoa trees, over 145 years old, still bearing fruit.

Songbirds, distinct signature pine smells, and the splashing sound of the towering waterfall provide a happy balance of welcome and restoration. Adorned with thick green foliage, and a series of steep drops over a few rock steps, Oboadaka waterfall is estimated to have a height of about 623ft above ground level.
