Lake Bafa Nature ParkAfter exploring the magnificant Ephesus, we will have a late lunch at a very traditional local reastaurant by the Lake Bafa. Situated in the beautiful Lake Bafa National Park, with the spectacular backdrop of Latmos mountain, Bafa is a haven of tranquillity. And if you are lucky, you might witness to one of the biggest mistery on the planet, One may find this hard to believe but the eels in Lake Bafa come from the Gulf of Saragossa in Mexico. Once the eels in Lake Bafa reach a certain maturity they start on their long journey which takes them up to the Menderes River through which they reach the Aegean Sea from where they reach the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic to reach Gulf of Saragossa in Mexico.
