Because Kanazawa was largely untouched by air raids during World War II, the atmosphere from the samurai era has been remarkably preserved. In there, we can enjoy (1) The area features scenic canals, historic samurai residences like the Nomura-ke, (Entrance fee is required.) and peaceful gardens, allowing visitors to experience the daily life of samurai in the Edo period (17-19century.) (2)Make 4 pieces of Nigiri sushi and 1 stick sushi roll (Futomaki) with guide from a professional.
