Mangel Halto BeachOne of the sites we recommend is to visit the Mangel Halto beach, located in Savaneta Aruba. This beach rarely gets visited by most guests and is definitely a local favorite!
-
Baby BeachBaby beach is a must see when visiting Aruba. Beautiful shallow waters, crystal clear snorkeling areas, and just a wonderful soothing atmosphere.
-
Seroe Colorado LighthouseThe Colorado lighthouse sits at the southernmost point of the island. The main attraction isn't actually the lighthouse however, it's the stunning view from the edge of the south point. On a clear day, you can even see the hills of Venezuela from there.
-
Bushiribana RuinsOn the northern coast sits the abandoned Bushiribana gold mill that once processed ore from mines in the nearby hills during Aruba's gold rush of the nineteenth century. A very scenic attraction for pictures.
-
Alto Vista ChapelAlto Vista Chapel is a small Catholic chapel that stands on the hills above the north shore near Noord Aruba. The church, painted on the outside in stark bright yellow, makes it a conspicuous religious monument for people to visit.
-
Aruba Downtown Walking ToursThe old stone California lighthouse stands as a silent sentry in the area known as "Hudishibana," near the island's northwestern tip. The lighthouse is named for the U.S ship - the California - which sunk about two years previous to its construction in 1910. The site offers spectacular sunsets as the final shades of sunshine give way to a brilliant azure canopy. Perched on a high seaside elevation, the lighthouse has become one of Aruba's scenic trademarks and offers a picture perfect view of the island's western coastline of sandy beaches, rolling sand dunes and rocky coral shorelines. The lighthouse has completed a recent restoration in May 2016 which coincided with the 100th anniversary of the completion of the lighthouse. It's free to view and take pictures of the lighthouse but to climb up there is a fee.
-
Ayo Rock FormationsFeaturing a series of boulders that appear to have been gathered, piled, and deliberately set across a few square miles of desert, this site carries a certain air of mystery. Scientists remain baffled about the geological event that could have created the formations, while archaeologists and historians are fascinated by the petroglyphs and paintings drawn by the native Arawak people. Trails weave around the enormous stones, many of which have been named for the animals they resemble. Speaking of which, all sorts of creatures inhabit the area, from iguanas to burrowing owls.
-
Conchi Natural PoolThe newly discovered natural pool is at your right up in this photo. So just a few minutes walking from the Bushiribana Goldmine. Take the wooden stairs and you will enjoy this amazing beauty.
