  • Mangel Halto Beach
One of the sites we recommend is to visit the Mangel Halto beach, located in Savaneta Aruba. This beach rarely gets visited by most guests and is definitely a local favorite!
  • Baby Beach
Baby beach is a must see when visiting Aruba. Beautiful shallow waters, crystal clear snorkeling areas, and just a wonderful soothing atmosphere.
  • Seroe Colorado Lighthouse
The Colorado lighthouse sits at the southernmost point of the island. The main attraction isn't actually the lighthouse however, it's the stunning view from the edge of the south point. On a clear day, you can even see the hills of Venezuela from there.
  • Bushiribana Ruins
On the northern coast sits the abandoned Bushiribana gold mill that once processed ore from mines in the nearby hills during Aruba's gold rush of the nineteenth century. A very scenic attraction for pictures.
  • Alto Vista Chapel
Alto Vista Chapel is a small Catholic chapel that stands on the hills above the north shore near Noord Aruba. The church, painted on the outside in stark bright yellow, makes it a conspicuous religious monument for people to visit.
  • Aruba Downtown Walking Tours
The old stone California lighthouse stands as a silent sentry in the area known as "Hudishibana," near the island's northwestern tip. The lighthouse is named for the U.S ship - the California - which sunk about two years previous to its construction in 1910. The site offers spectacular sunsets as the final shades of sunshine give way to a brilliant azure canopy. Perched on a high seaside elevation, the lighthouse has become one of Aruba's scenic trademarks and offers a picture perfect view of the island's western coastline of sandy beaches, rolling sand dunes and rocky coral shorelines. The lighthouse has completed a recent restoration in May 2016 which coincided with the 100th anniversary of the completion of the lighthouse. It's free to view and take pictures of the lighthouse but to climb up there is a fee.
  • Ayo Rock Formations
The Ayo Rock Formation is a collection of monolithic boulders scattered across the arid terrain of Aruba’s Ayo Plateau, located in the island’s interior. These massive stones, some reaching up to 40 feet in height, are composed of diorite, a type of igneous rock known for its exceptional durability. Formed millions of years ago through volcanic activity and erosion, these monoliths have withstood the test of time, preserving the island’s geological history. Legends and Myths As with many ancient sites, Ayo Rock Formation is steeped in myths and legends passed down through generations of Aruban people. According to one legend, the rocks were believed to be sacred sites where the island’s indigenous inhabitants, the Arawak Indians, sought guidance from their gods. These massive boulders were thought to have spiritual significance, acting as gateways to the spirit world.
  • Casibari Rock Formations
If you want to visit the most naturally beautiful parts of Aruba, you can’t just stick to the coast. You’ll have to go inland and visit the Ayo and Casibari Rock Formations in Aruba. These giant rock formations offer short hikes, amazing viewpoints, lots of local flora and fauna, and a true look at the arid desert conditions of Aruba. Still not convinced? Well, the Casibari Rock Formation is considered one of the best free things to do in Aruba due to the unique experience it provides as well as its rich history, which you can learn about below. Trust me, plan an hour to go check it out. It’s worth it!
  • California Lighthouse
The old stone California lighthouse stands as a silent watchman in the area known as "Hudishibana," near the island's northwestern tip. It beckons visitors to the most spectacular views of the island. The lighthouse was named after the S.S. California - which sunk previous to its construction in 1910. Perched on a high seaside elevation, the lighthouse has become one of Aruba's scenic trademarks and offers a picture perfect view of the island's western coastline of beaches and coral shorelines.
  • Arashi Beach
“Arashi Beach is a beautiful hidden gem! The soft sand and clear waters make it the perfect spot for a relaxing day with family. Definitely a must-visit when in Aruba!” “This beach is stunning! The sunsets here are breathtaking, and the beach is less crowded compared to other touristy areas. Bring your snorkeling gear!”
  • Tres Trapi Steps
Tres Trapi — which translates to "Three Steps" in Papiamento, the island's local language. In fact, most of the water is surrounded by coral formations — except at low tide, when a small sandbar forms near the steps — which means there really aren't many places to spread out a towel. However, that shouldn't stop you from visiting. Although small and rugged, Tres Trapi's true charm starts to shine once you're inside the water. With a maximum depth of about 15 feet, the ocean here is the perfect place for a dose of swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving — especially if you're hoping to come face-to-face with some of Aruba's marine wildlife. From vibrant schools of fish to moray eels, stingrays, starfish, and turtles, Tres Trapi is a haven for animal lovers curious to see these creatures in their natural habitat.
