In fact, if you look closely you can see it from the terrace of the traditional stilted restaurant building. It is an originally an irrigation dam built during the Khmer Rouge regime. Paddy farming is a major agricultural activity in Kampot, and many local farmers still use traditional methods to farm and harvest rice. Phnom Kampong Trach CaveThe cave has found more than 800 years ago. Where we have to Travel through the countryside and see Phnom Kampong Trach cave, about 20 miles east of Kampot town. The cave sites are host to pre-Angkorian, or as they are referred to outside of Cambodia, prehistoric ruins. The site includes a cave at the foot of the mountain as well as a number of small mountain wells, which local people of Cambodian, Chinese and Vietnamese descent use for worship.
