Overview
Visit the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia, Kek Lok Si Temple, also known as the Temple of Supreme Bliss, and reach the highest peak in Penang to admire George Town and the mainland from above.
Enjoy a breathtaking view of the gigantic bronze statue of the Goddess of Mercy that overlooks the entire temple precinct and its vicinity, then take a stroll up the seven-storey pagoda which houses over 10,000 Buddha statues.
Next, ride the funicular train to the top of Penang Hill where the oldest British hill station in the region was established. Take in the bird's-eye view of George Town and the mainland before heading back to your hotel in Penang.
