Your guide and driver pick you up from your accommodation in Bled and transfer you through the Julian Alps to Jerečica Canyon in the Bohinj Valley — a less-visited gorge away from the tourist crowds.
At the canyon entrance, your guide fits everyone with a wetsuit, helmet, harness, and all safety equipment. You'll receive a full briefing tailored to your group, including any younger participants. Our guides are trained through our own Canyoning Academy and certified as white water rescuers.
The descent through the canyon takes between 2 and 4 hours. Along the way you'll slide down natural rock chutes, jump into emerald pools, and abseil down the steeper drops using ropes. Every jump is completely optional — your guide always provides an alternative route for anyone who prefers to watch. Groups are capped at 7 guests per guide, so the pace is set by your family, not the other way around.
Your guide photographs the key moments throughout. After the tour, full-size photos are delivered to your inbox via WeTransfer. GoPro video is available as an optional add-on for €25.
After the canyon you change into dry clothes and your driver returns you to Bled, typically within half a day.
