These rare fireflies emit bright, rhythmic lights, creating a mesmerizing display in the dark. They are active only for about 30 minutes after sunset and can only be seen from April to June.

Banna ParkIshigaki Island is Japan’s first designated Dark Sky Reserve, making it a top destination for stargazing. After the firefly viewing, we will move to an open area for a stargazing session. An officially certified Ishigaki City guide will provide explanations using a laser pointer.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
